Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds Reach Custody Agreement: Report
The RHOC alum and her estranged husband have reportedly made progress in their separation.
Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds have reportedly reached a custody agreement last week, according to Us Weekly and In Touch. Sources confirmed to In Touch that the estranged couple has settled on 50/50 joint custody of their three children, twin sons Hart and Hayes and daughter Aspen.
According to In Touch, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is “not happy” with the arrangement, while the former baseball pro is "thrilled." The source further added, “Meghan didn’t want Jim to get equal/joint custody, but that’s exactly what happened. She expected him to get less because she’s been saying he can’t handle it, but he’s doing just fine.”
The agreement was reportedly reached between their lawyers as they “have not been in front of a judge yet, but attorneys agreed upon a ‘parenting plan'" that takes into account some of the upcoming holidays: “She has them this Thanksgiving, and he gets them next year.”
Meghan did, in fact, spend Thanksgiving with their three kids. While she and her children were feeling under the weather and planned to keep the day low-key, her family swooped in to cook up a Thanksgiving meal, she posted on Instagram Stories, according to Us Weekly. Jim spent the day with some of his children — Hayley, Landon, and Sutton — from previous marriages. He reportedly spent the day before Thanksgiving with his children with Meghan.
Meghan and Jim split up back in October after five years of marriage. He reportedly filed for divorce, and their separation quickly escalated in the public eye with allegations, interviews, and statements made by both Meghan and Jim in the wake of their split.
