Meghan King Is "Tickled Pink" to Announce the Birth of a New Addition to Her Family
The newborn has already stolen The Real Housewives of Orange County alum's heart.
Meghan King's family just got a little bigger. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum just welcomed her first niece.
Meghan announced in a post on Instagram on July 14 that her younger sister, Caitlin King, recently gave birth to her first child, a baby girl. "I’m tickled pink to announce the birth of my first ever niece, River King Rhodes! Rivi stole my heart from the second I saw her first photo," Meghan gushed in the post. "My sister [Caitlin] didn’t surprise me one bit as she handled her firstborn’s early arrival with what can only be described as peaceful motherly ease."
The post featured a precious photo of Meghan's newborn niece sleeping in a car seat. "Congratulations to my sister and her husband for creating the most beautiful doll in the world, I can’t wait to steal her at every opportunity and spoil her silly," Meghan added in the post. "Auntie Meggie loves you to the moon, little one!"
Caitlin is the second eldest of Meghan's siblings, followed by sister Julie King and brother RJ King. You can see the whole King family, along with Meghan's now-ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, their three children (daughter Aspen and twin sons Hart and Hayes), and beloved pup Girly Girl in the below photo taken on Christmas Eve 2018.
Caitlin is currently based in Meghan's hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. You may recognize Caitlin from Season 21 of The Amazing Race, where she competed alongside her friend Brittany Fletcher.
Meghan has really been getting back to her King roots recently. She officially dropped the last name Edmonds from her Instagram handle and bio following her split from Jim. She confirmed the move in her Instagram Story this week. "Please allow me to reintroduce myself," Meghan wrote in the post. "Damn it feels good to be back on my throne."
