Wait, Did Kate Chastain Predict Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s News?
The Below Deck chief stew's talents extend far beyond the yacht.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked people all over the world with their announcement that they plan to “step back as senior members of the Royal Family,” and split their time between the U.K. and North America. But there was one person who wasn't fazed in the least: Below Deck's Kate Chastain.
You see, it's the chief stew's job to anticipate what's coming next, and she did just that less than a year ago. Following the news that Markle and Prince Harry had welcomed their first child, Archie, on May 6, 2019, Kate tweeted, "[Baby Sussex] finally made its [Megxit]."
Kate drove home the point with another tweet on January 10, writing, "I’m not saying I’m psychic."
And while she may have been referring to Baby Sussex exiting Markle's womb, the term "Megxit" is now being used to describe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's plans to step back from the royal family. So perhaps Kate had been foreshadowing this story all along, starting with Archie's birth and ending with... the Duchess joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? We will just have to watch what happens...
