It may be a new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but don’t expect Melissa Gorga to be turning over a new leaf with Teresa Giudice anytime soon.
In fact, Melissa doesn’t want to talk about her estranged sister-in-law at all.
“Do you have anything to say about Teresa?” a producer asked in the Season 14 premiere.
“I really don’t want to answer any questions about Teresa this year,” Melissa replied.

Teresa has been feuding with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa, for more than a decade but the family tension finally reached its breaking point in Season 13, after Teresa helped fuel a cheating rumor about Melissa,
The Gorgas, in turn, skipped out on Teresa’s lavish wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August 2022, opting to spend the day at the beach instead.

The two couples only added more fuel to the fire during the heated three-part Season 13 reunion.
"You know what the best thing to do is?" Joe told his sister. "Forget about me, I will forget about you. That's it. Do your thing, leave me alone, leave everybody alone, live your f--king lives."
For her part, Teresa said that she “can’t wait” to cut Melissa and Joe out of her life for good.
“It’s going to be over after tonight, I can’t wait,” she said.
“Why? Where are you going?” Melissa replied.
“You’re leaving,” Teresa shot back. “She’s gonna be out of my life after tonight.”

Four months later, when filming of Season 14 picked up, it doesn’t seem like any positive progress has been made to repair the fractured family.
When Dolores Catania asked Teresa where she stood with the rest of the cast at a dinner with Louie and Dolores’ beau Paul “Paulie” Connell, Teresa had a blunt reply.
“I don’t speak to my brother and Melissa,” she said.
“Will you say hi to them?” Dolores probed.
“No, absolutely not,” Teresa said.
The feuding family members may not be talking to each other, but they still share plenty of common friendships that will undoubtedly place them at the same events.
That fraught scenario already played out during the season premiere when Melissa, Joe, and Teresa all attended Jennifer Fessler’s surprise birthday party.
Teresa, who arrived at the party with pal Jennifer Aydin, made a point to loudly greet everyone over by the restaurant bar — where Joe was clearly sitting — but made no attempt to acknowledge her brother.
“That was so weird,” Jennifer Aydin remarked of the awkward exchange.
Melissa and Teresa also kept their distance at the spirited party, which had plenty of drinks and a candy bar.
“How do you feel being here with Teresa?” a producer later asked Melissa.
“I feel nothing,” Melissa replied.
