Andy Cohen Reveals What He “Wish[es]” They Had Covered at the RHONJ Season 13 Reunion
The WWHL host made a specific reference to Teresa’s wedding day.
To say a lot went down during The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 reunion would be a major understatement. And though the three-part special, which aired in June, was intense for each and every cast member, it was particularly monumental for Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.
Host Andy Cohen facilitated several conversations between the two — and eventually, between Teresa and her brother, Joe Gorga, as well — after they spent much of the season clashing. However, in retrospect, Andy recently revealed that there were “a couple things that we didn’t cover that I wish we had” with regard to the family drama.
Andy Cohen’s RHONJ Season 13 Reunion Regrets
More specifically, Andy expressed his regret over “skipping” something that happened during Teresa and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ wedding, which was later shown on RHONJ’s Teresa Gets Married special on May 23.
“Why did Melissa and Joe post those Instagram posts the day of her wedding, which was very shady of them?” Andy said in an interview with PopCulture.com.
As RHONJ fans may recall, Melissa and Joe didn’t attend Teresa and Louie’s wedding, but social media posts the two shared that same day, which alluded to their absence, did end up making an appearance on Teresa Gets Married. Louie reacted in real time and called the posts “f-cked up” and “maddening,” while Teresa and several of her castmates weighed in on Episode 16 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show for Season 13.
“Of course that was hurtful,” she said. “That’s so childish. I would never do that.”
The social media posts weren’t the only topic Andy regretted not discussing, although he didn’t elaborate, simply noting that there were “a few.”
How the RHONJ Season 13 Reunion Ended
Ultimately, after what was discussed at the Season 13 reunion, Teresa and Melissa both made big statements about the future of their relationship.
“I want to close a chapter and move forward,” Teresa said, later sharing a similar sentiment while discussing her relationship with her brother. “I wish her well, peace, and that’s what I want, to close that chapter.”
Melissa, meanwhile, delivered a parting message for Teresa. “I definitely feel the hate, right? You see it. It’s clear that I could never please her. I never could, from day one. No matter what I did, it was wrong. And obviously some things never change,” she said before turning to Teresa specifically. “I do love you, no matter what you think. I worry about you.”
As for the future, Melissa added, “I’ll go with the flow — with whatever the family decides to do.”
