Melissa Gorga’s daughter Antonia Gorga is back on her feet nearly six months after sustaining a knee injury. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member recently took to Instagram to share a major update on her daughter’s recovery.

How to Watch

Antonia, an avid cheerleader and gymnast, tore her ACL late last year. After undergoing surgery and spending several months recuperating, the teen is now “doing great” and nearly ready to get back to practice, as Melissa confirmed in an Instagram post on May 29.

The proud mom shared a video of Antonia showing off her gymnastic moves, captioning it, “Can’t wait for @antoniagorgaa to get back to this! Very soon! Six months into her torn ACL and she is doing great. We’re hoping 2 more months and she’ll be able to start tumbling again.”

She went on to add, “It’s been a long journey so far, and I can’t thank @dr.robingehrmann enough! He has been so amazing. And a huge thank you to @milehighpt !! She’s got this!! Almost there! Cheering by the fall!”

We’re not the only ones in awe of Antonia’s skills. Several fellow ‘Wives took to the comments to share their support. “Wow!!!! I’m so impressed,” RHONJ’s Jackie Goldschneider wrote, while Dolores Catania added, “Wow!!!”

This isn’t the first update that Melissa has shared on Antonia’s recovery. Back in December, she shared a photo of her teen sporting a leg brace. My baby girl had a little bump in the road.. but who hasn’t in 2020 right?” she captioned the picture at the time.
