A New Video of Mercedes "MJ" Javid's Son Shams Proves He Is His Namesake's Mini-Me

Shahs of Sunset new mom Mercedes "MJ" Javid announced her decision to name her son after her late father, Shams Javid, shortly after the baby's birth in April. Thus, MJ and Tommy Feight's firstborn son was then named Shams Francis Javid, in tribute to both MJ's dad, who passed away in 2018, and Tommy's late mom. A new video with baby Shams shows just how much he looks like his namesake.

Tommy shared a video with a smiling Shams that also explained how MJ's mom, Vida, whom Tommy affectionately calls "Darth Vida," is as a grandma. "So Shams was just taking a nap, right, but if you listen you can hear Darth Vida's here. He woke up right up," Tommy said.

And for good reason: "He knows now for the next eight to 10 hours, he's going to be held in a vice-like grip, and she's just going to pace back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, like she's Lewis and Clark exploring the Louisiana territory," he joked.

However, this is one thing that will have Grandma Vida running for the hills: "We also figured out now if we want to get rid of her… we just got to say, ‘Shams got a dirty diaper," Tommy said, before launching into a tale that we're pretty sure is highly editorialized. See for yourself below.
