Gizelle Bryant Reacts to Monique Samuels' Real Housewives of Potomac Cast Photo Shade
Andy Cohen teased "a lot of twists and turns" in this RHOP relationship in Season 5.
It has never been smooth sailing for Gizelle Bryant and Monique Samuels on The Real Housewives of Potomac, and it sounds like the upcoming Season 5 will continue to be a roller coaster ride for the pair when it premieres this summer.
When Gizelle appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on May 17, her relationship with Monique was top of mind for viewers. "Gizelle, we got a lot of questions wanting to know about your relationship with Monique and what's going on between the two of you," Andy Cohen, who is an executive producer of The Real Housewives, asked his guest via video chat (clip above). "I don't want to ruin the season because there are a lot of twists and turns, but is there anything you can tell us?"
Gizelle then hinted at where she stands with Monique today. "I haven't seen her in a long time," she said. "And that's totally fine with me."
Andy then asked Gizelle about a recent incident with Monique on social media. "I guess Monique covered your face and Candiace [Dillard Bassett]'s face in the cast photo when she tweeted about this season's postponement," Andy said. "What was your take on that?"
"I felt like she just explained to everybody she's a third grader," Gizelle replied. "It wasn't like it was some random picture of me; it's our cast photo. So clearly, she feels a certain way about my face, and this face should not be scratched out — ever."
The trailer for Season 5 of RHOP teases some serious drama between Monique and Candiace that will impact the entire Potomac squad. The clip ends with a tense discussion with the group in which Gizelle appears to say to Monique, "I by no means want to be near you," to which she replies, "Then maybe I don't need to be a part of this anymore."
