Padma Lakshmi Was Among the Fierce Females Who Celebrated Black Panther at the NYC Screening
The Top Chef siren joined stars of the Marvel movie to celebrate the film's upcoming release.
Padma Lakshmi was among the stars who joined the cast for a special pre-release screening of Black Panther at New York City's Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday night. Most were dressed considerably more casually than the out-of-this-world fashion creations seen at the January premiere, and the Top Chef siren selected a sleek and subtle black outfit for the occasion.
But the film's stars like Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, and Danai Gurira still looked incredibly fierce, even without the "royal attire" dress code of the premiere. Model Iman still came dressed as the regal queen she is, while Tyra Banks, who turned heads in a sheer lace leotard, posed with Danielle Herrington, the next Sports Illustrated cover model (and only the third black woman to grace the cover).

Others, like sisters Nicky Hilton and newly-engaged Paris Hilton (who sported a heart-shaped "I'm Taken" purse), chose more playful looks for the night.

Black Panther has officially become the most-tweeted movie of the year before it has even opened, and Padma tweeted a picture of herself with Leslie Jones.
