By Jenny Berg

In the wake of Hurricane Florence, the Southern Charm cast members are doing their part to help out with relief efforts — and Patricia Altschul is proud of the Charleston crew's good deeds. Not only is Shep Rose is raising funds for relief efforts through his Shep Gear Clothing line — his buddy Craig Conover is delivering groceries and supplies to people affected by the storm.

How to Watch

Craig went to North Carolina to see the hurricane damage first-hand, and was deeply moved by what he saw. In an Instagram post, the Charmer urged his followers to donate whatever they can to the cause.

"Nothing can prepare someone for the destruction I witnessed yesterday," he wrote. "And the property damage was the least of the darkness. Please help them. Help us help them. Do whatever you can because the person that gets whatever items you donate no matter how insignificant they seem to you, trust me, will put the biggest smile on their faces and warm their hearts a few degrees."

In another post, he shared scenes from a community gathering and shared information on donation drop-off points.

Taking to Twitter on September 24, Patricia gave props to Craig for his "selfless and tireless work for those affected by the storm."
