Patti Stanger Spills about Her Recent First Date

Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger hasn't been shy (at all!) about her desire to move on from her broken engagement to her boyfriend of six years.

"Last week I had my first date with an old friend," she 'fesses to Express Night Out. "That went great. I just feel like I'm ready to date. Bring on the parade."

What's the most stressful part of a first date? Figuring out what to wear obviously. Knowing Patti, it was a form-fitting LBD. Did I peek into her wardrobe? No, silly. I read the harsh words she said about New York women.

"It's the fashion capital of the world, and these girls look like they fell out of your nose," says Miss Love Connection. "California has nothing to worry about. We knock it out compared to New York. These women were difficult to deal with; they didn't want to listen to me. And they wonder why they don't have a date." That hurts, Patti, that hurts.

Adding salt to the wound, she continues, "One thing about fashion in New York: It's very boho. And men like fitted clothes on their women. That's why we dress fitted in California. We've got boob tops and tight jeans. We don't dress like an airy prairie girl off the Topanga hippie farm. You're not going to get a guy when you're wearing the muumuu and you've got boobs down to your ankles."

What's that noise? Oh, it's just Rachel Zoe clutching her muumuu and screaming, "That's bananas!"
