Is Phaedra Parks Returning to TV? She's About to Get into Some Real Drama
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum will reportedly appear in an upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp.
Phaedra Parks may soon be heading back to a TV screen near you.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has reportedly been filming episodes for an upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp, sources close to the production have told TMZ. And no, Phaedra is not married, but she is set to appear on the show with her new boyfriend, actor Medina Islam.
Though Phaedra and Medina's relationship is still relatively new (they've only been dating for the past few months), it sounds like they still have some issues to work out. On Marriage Boot Camp, they will explore whether or not they're ready to move in together and what the future holds for their relationship as Phaedra contemplates moving from Atlanta to Los Angeles with her sons, Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6, so she can be closer to Medina.
It sounded like Phaedra and Medina, who met through the exclusive dating app Raya, were in relationship bliss when the RHOA attorney opened up about her new man during an interview with DailyMailTV in July, saying that she was "happy" and "excited" after falling in love with a "tall, dark and handsome" man. "He's very smart, very intelligent. He's kind, we are both socially active. He's really sober and smart. He's a great father," she gushed. "So I'm excited about it."
Phaedra is the latest Real Housewives alum to appear on Marriage Boot Camp. Gretchen Rossi, Aviva Drescher, Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, and Alexis Bellino, who will be appearing in the upcoming new season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars — Family Edition.
Of course, Phaedra is no stranger to sharing her relationship drama with the world. We've followed her marriage to Apollo Nida from Season 3 through Season 9 of RHOA. Phaedra announced her plans to divorce Apollo in 2014, and they reached a divorce settlement in 2017.
