Phaedra Parks Reflects on Her Sons Growing up and We Dare You Not to Tear up a Little
The RHOA alum has been keeping busy raising her two sons with ex-husband Apollo Nida.
Much like you, Phaedra Parks can't believe how much her two sons, Ayden and Dylan, have grown, and she found the perfect quote to sum it up during a recent family trip to the beach. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum quoted New York Times bestselling author Richard Paul Evans while reflecting on her life as a mom.
"Sunsets like childhood are viewed with wonder not just because they are beautiful but because they are fleeting," is the quote she shared from his book, The Gift, but she personalized the message by adding, "We love the beach. #momlife #vacation #travel #sunset."
This summer has been busy for Phaedra and her two boys, who have spent the season traveling here and there (while also running into "role models" like professional boxer Deontay Wilder), attending events looking dapper, and celebrating loved ones like their uncle.
Their father, Apollo Nida, was released from prison twice this summer and is now living in a halfway house in Philadelphia, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records obtained by Page Six. Apollo is now scheduled to be released from federal custody on November 26.
Phaedra and Apollo currently share joint legal custody of their kids, while she has primary physical custody. "My sons have been through a lot, they've seen a lot of good things, they've seen a lot of bad things and nobody's life is going to be perfect, so we're just going to continue and keep our schedules as they have been and we're going to hope and pray that Apollo can get it together," she said in an interview with DailyMailTV earlier this summer.
