Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley Share Memories From the Day PJ Was Born
The RHOA cast member reflected on her life with daughter Pilar Jhena McKinley to celebrate her second birthday.
Porsha Williams' daughter Pilar Jhena McKinley, aka her "whittle princess," is officially 2 years old this week, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member "can’t believe" it.
Fans have been by Porsha's side throughout her entire motherhood journey and have watched PJ grow into the adorable toddler she is today. Porsha shared some videos from the day she gave birth in March 2019, adding, "Pj Day!!! Happy Birthday @pilarjhena. I [was] truly surrounded with love 2 years ago as we waited for princess Pj!! My grandma Iona is the best[.] She is where I get all my humor and we love to tease people[.] It’s how we show love! lol #MyVillage."
Porsha also recalled PJ's first day out of the womb as "the first day of the best days of my life."
Porsha also shared stunning photos of herself pregnant: "Man sitting here reminiscing on how excited I was to finally be healthy and pregnant with my Life saver! I wanted to capture every moment as you can tell lol. I dreamed of carrying my lil angel and there I was filled with anticipation [and] joy until the day I would meet you @pilarjhena #AWaitingMyPrincess."
PJ's dad, Dennis McKinley, couldn't help getting in on the fun of celebrating his daughter and shared a throwback from the day she was born as well. And be prepared because he's "posting this every year today!"
Aunt Lauren Williams also shared a throwback of the birthday girl.
In an interview with The Daily Dish last year, shortly after PJ turned 1, Porsha noted how "it’s crazy how time’s flew by."
She opened up about her life as a mom: "Being able to raise a little princess like PJ has been something that I’ve dreamt about for a very long time. And it’s just a big blessing. Like every day, every morning I see her, it’s like Christmas. It’s like oh my gosh, I can’t even believe that I get to be her mom and, you know, I think the most special thing is seeing her learn things. Her just learning how to walk right before her birthday and when she plays with her educational toys. Just seeing her learn is just amazing to me."
Porsha revealed one more throwback of little PJ timed to this year's birthday because you can never have too many pics of her!
And here we are, two years later and deep in those "terrific 2s," as Porsha called it. Dennis also called PJ's birthday "the best day of the year!"
