Porsha Williams Discusses Suffering a Miscarriage: "I'm Willing to Use My Story to Help Other Women"
The RHOA cast member wants to use her platform to share her fertility experience.
Porsha Williams has taken fans inside many aspects of her life journey during her time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, including, in most recent seasons, her ups and downs with fiancé Dennis McKinley, as well as the joy of welcoming their daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley, into her life.
However, now she's sharing a deeply emotional experience in a preview for the April 5 episode of RHOA.
"Six years ago, I suffered from a miscarriage at home alone. It was something I really haven't spoken about openly to this extent," she told the group at an event, clip above, which prompted Tanya Sam and Kenya Moore to also talk about their own struggles with fertility.
Porsha made it clear in the clip above that she was sharing her previous miscarriage experience as a way to open up the conversation: "The point is, if I were to have talked about it to other women or, you know, been more open, I would have realized that it is OK... I'm willing to use my story to help other women."
Porsha is now sharing her story with the world on RHOA — and in the RHOA Season 12 After Show, she's spilling all the tea about her adorable baby girl, PJ, below.
