Randall Emmett Shares His Plans to Celebrate His Birthday While Self-Quarantined
The Vanderpump Rules fiancé is going to get creative for his 49th birthday.
Because of the need to stay at home in self-isolation to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), many people are having to make significant adjustments to their social lives. Randall Emmett and Lala Kent are among the people who have had to make a few scheduling changes; first, the Vanderpump Rules couple postponed their wedding, and now, they’re having to get creative with Randall’s birthday party.
Randall celebrates his 49th birthday on March 26, and although his adorable daughters, Rylee and London, already made him some sweet baked goods as a gift, he’s making an effort to get everyone else in the house excited for his special day.
“This is the day before the birthday video,” said Randall in a post he shared on Instagram on March 25. “Lala, take some interest. Pretend you care.”
In an Instagram Story, he shared his plans for the day. “We’re still quarantined here, and tomorrow is my birthday. So, it’s going to be a big party here at the house with all of us quarantined.”
Randall explained that Lala took a trip to Target (because it’s the only store open around them), to pick up a few party necessities like cake and ice cream.
“Look at all the people I invited!” Randall joked, as he panned the camera around the room and pointed to all of the dogs that were lounging around.
Randall also shared a photo from bed with Lala, where he got a little bit more heartfelt.
“Happy birthday to me! It’s been a crazy few weeks for everyone. Today, I’m just grateful to know my parents are safe and healthy as well as my friends. Period,” he wrote. “Life has thrown everyone through a life-changing experience, and I am happy I am to celebrate today with my loved ones! Also, I will be doing FaceTime shots tonight starting at 6...lol, seriously!”
