Raquel Leviss Reveals Why She Fell for Tom Sandoval and the Story They Planned to Tell Ariana Madix
The shocking revelations came during Raquel’s sit-down with Vanderpump Rules reunion host Andy Cohen.
Raquel Leviss opened up about her and Tom Sandoval’s affair like never before during Part 2 of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion. More specifically, she spoke at length during her one-on-one sit-down with reunion host Andy Cohen.

When and How Raquel’s Affair with Tom Began
Going back to the beginning, Raquel told Andy that she and Tom “have been friends for a while” and she’s always viewed him as “somebody that’s been in my corner and has rooted for me.”
As for when “things started getting more romantic,” Raquel said the precursor was the girls’ trip she went on with Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, and Kristina Kelly. (Ariana Madix also went, but she had to leave early because her dog, Charlotte, got sick and needed to be put down.)
“[Tom] made me feel heard and seen,” Raquel explained, “and those are feelings that I haven’t really felt, maybe ever.”
She told Andy that includes when she was with her ex-fiancé, James Kennedy.
How Raquel and Tom Initially Planned to Tell Ariana About Their Affair
As Tom revealed on the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 finale, he and Raquel intended to tell Ariana they were together before the reunion. But, of course, that’s not what happened, and Ariana instead found out by coming across a FaceTime screen recording of Tom and Raquel on his phone.
From there, Ariana called Raquel — who was in New York City after taping Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen alongside Scheana Shay — and said that if she’s “ever given a sh-t” about her, she would admit right then and there when the affair actually started.
Looking back at the confrontation, Raquel told Andy that she felt “a lot of pain” radiating from Ariana.
“She begged me to tell her when it all happened,” Raquel continued. “At this point, we were going to tell her, we just wanted to get ‘our stories straight,’ basically, because [Tom] felt like it would hurt her if she knew how long this has been going on.”
Put simply, Tom and Raquel were “going to truncate” how long the affair had been happening, as Andy put it. “Yeah,” Raquel confirmed.
What Raquel Told Ariana About Her and Tom’s Affair
Instead of lying, though, Raquel said she “told [Ariana] the truth.”
“And she said, ‘Thank you for telling me, because Tom would have never told me the truth,” Raquel added.
She went on to describe her role in the affair as “very deceitful.”
“I’m very ashamed of it,” Raquel concluded.
