Kenya Moore Reveals Where She Stands with Cynthia Bailey After RHUGT
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member shared an update on her relationship with Cynthia Bailey, as well as Teresa Giudice, following their Turks and Caicos trip.
There was no shortage of fun in the sun, nor drama, when Real Housewives from across the franchise went on the vacation of a lifetime during Season 1 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. And although the ladies definitely had lots of good times, some tense moments transpired within the group, including between longtime friends Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey.
Kenya recently shared details about the Turks and Caicos trip, and gave an update on her relationship with Cynthia, during her May 15 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. After host Andy Cohen asked Kenya if she and Cynthia had found a way to “mend” everything between them, Kenya responded, “We’re talking, yeah, she invited me to something the other day.”
Cynthia had also previously opened up about where things stood with Kenya following RHUGT during her March 2 appearance on WWHL, telling Andy, “I will always have love in my heart for Kenya. Relationships, friendships go up and down, and it’s really tough. I’ve learned to maintain healthy relationships when you work together on a platform like this. So I love Kenya. I will always have love for her, but we are not where we used to be.”
She went on to add, “We did talk on the phone. We did have a conversation on the phone, a very lengthy conversation, and it was very good.”
In addition to dishing on her friendship with Cynthia while in the Bravo Clubhouse, Kenya also opened up about the bond she had developed with some of the other ladies on the trip, including Melissa Gorga, Kyle Richards, Luann de Lesseps, and Teresa Giudice.
Speaking of Kenya’s friendship with Teresa, as fans may recall, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member forged a close friendship with Kenya in Turks and Caicos, which culminated in a heartwarming Season 1 finale moment when Kenya was given the prize of a luxurious trip as the winner of Cynthia’s “Bailey Bowl” — which all the ladies participated in on the last day of their trip — and gifted it to Teresa to enjoy with her fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
Andy brought up that moment during Kenya’s May 15 WWHL appearance, in the clip above, asking if Teresa had ever taken the trip with Louie, and if Kenya had heard from her lately. “I talk to Teresa all the time,” Kenya said, adding that Teresa hadn’t told her if she’d taken the trip yet amid all her travels with Louie. Kenya went on to share her feelings about both Teresa and Louie, saying, “I love her. I love them together,” to which Andy added, “That was really nice that you did that.”
Speaking of all things RHUGT, there’s a new twist in store for another epic girls’ trip with ex-Housewives from across the franchise gathering for a vacation at Dorinda Medley’s iconic Bluestone Manor, when The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club premieres on June 23.
