Todd Tucker Reveals His True Feelings About the RHOA Husbands
Kandi Burruss’ spouse weighed in on the Househusbands of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Over the years, in addition to getting to know the women of the Real Housewives franchise, viewers have also come to know the special someones in their lives. And with Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta underway, fans are getting an inside look at the relationships the Atlanta ’Wives are in, and now we’re hearing from Kandi Burruss' husband Todd Tucker about what it’s like to bond with the Househusbands of the ATL.
“Oh, the guys, the guys are cool, you know. It’s a whole new cast of guys that I have to meet and figure out if I want to be friends with. But everybody’s cool. Everybody’s really cool. We got [Sanya Richards-Ross’ husband Aaron] Ross — Ross is cool. Kind of quiet. I got my guy [Drew Sidora’s husband] Ralph [Pittman]. Ralph is funny," he told The Daily Dish. "[And Kandi Burruss' friend Monyetta Shaw's husband] Heath is a comedian. He's a fool," he told The Daily Dish. (Kandi agreed with that description of Heath, adding, "He's a straight comedian.")
The spouses have definitely been in the mix during Season 14, and Todd noted, “The guys are fun. And I think this season is cool ’cause the guys are around a lot more and I think that balances the women, but it also balances the show,” he said, adding, “Some of these women are in relationships, and there’s reasons why they act the way they do. So you’ll see some of the women who are not in relationships act a little differently than the women who are.”
Speaking of Todd and Kandi, the pair also spoke with Bravo Insider about what it’s like to put their marriage on camera. “[I’ve learned from watching us] that we were born to be together. But it’s tough at times. I think we just work well together. I think we have our challenges,” Todd said.
He continued, “I may hold on to them a little longer, ’cause she’s a Taurus and she’s sensitive but not sensitive at times. You know what I mean? But I think we just kind of, we just roll over the bumps real easy. Like a lot of times when people go through that bumpy road, it remains bumpy because they can’t let go or move on. And I think we’re just able to kind of, you know, butt heads but figure it out and move on,” he said, with Kandi noting, “When we’re not getting along [it’s hard to watch]. Like with those moments, it’s kind of like, ugh. But for the most part, it’s OK.”
