We Have New Details on Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman's Divorce
The RHOA cast member opened up in a big way on the Season 15 finale.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15 finale was supposed to end with Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker's preview party for The Pass as filming initially wrapped in January, but it turns out that cameras picked back up in March after Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman filed for divorce.
In her final interview for the season, Drew then opened up about her and Ralph's split. Read on to hear everything she shared on the RHOA episode, as well as what she told BravoTV.com while backstage at the upcoming RHOA Season 15 reunion.
How Drew Sidora's Kids Are Doing Amid Her Divorce From Ralph Pittman
Prior to sitting down for the confessional interview, Drew got a call from Kenya Moore, who wanted to see how she and her kids — sons Josiah and Machai, and daughter Aniya — were holding up. Responding, Drew said of Josiah, "Today I felt like my 11-year-old, JoJo, he was just a little sad."
Machai, meanwhile, "was asking where Daddy was," Drew continued, "so we were trying to figure out when would be a good time to talk about everything."
Responded Kenya, "You have these beautiful children together and you want to protect their energy. I know exactly how you feel. And you can call me anytime."
Shereé Whitfield made a similar offer when she visited Drew after finishing her own final confessional interview. "I went through a public divorce, so if you need anything — I know it's not a fun time," she said. "Even though you and I have had our differences, I don't wish anything like that on anybody."
Drew Sidora Shares the Reasoning for Her Divorce From Ralph Pittman
Put simply, "a lot of things have been happening over the course of the marriage," Drew said upon sitting down for her interview. "And honestly, things were just not getting better."
"I lost my voice in the marriage and I allowed things that no woman should ever allow," she added.
Ralph also sat down for an interview to tell his side of the story.
At the end of the RHOA episode, viewers got an update on where the former couple stands today: "Ralph has apologized for his role in the disintegration of their marriage...not to Drew, but to PEOPLE magazine. Drew and Ralph continue to cohabitate in their home and co-parent their children."
What's Next for Drew Sidora
It turns out that Drew has a lot to look forward to, especially when it comes to her music career. "Music [has] been my therapy," she told BravoTV.com the day of the RHOA Season 15 reunion taping, July 27. "I'm most excited about that."
Drew is also starting to explore the possibility of dating again, although she admitted she's not entirely ready at the moment. "Dating will be around the corner. It's a thought, you know?" she said. "I'm still going through my divorce process. But my DMs have been popping. It's been exciting."
Her kids' lives are equally exciting. Sharing an update on them, Drew explained, "[Josiah] was just placed in the gifted program in school. He is an all-star basketball player, he plays for the Adidas AAU team traveling around the country. I'm so proud of him. My daughter, Aniya, is starting kindergarten. And that is my mini-me. And Machai is just becoming so brilliant. He's going into third grade. And he's an all-around athlete — I mean, track, football, basketball, like, everything. And he's my little Youtuber. He's got such a personality. I'm so grateful for my little blessings. They have kept me going, for sure."
Drew said the same of her sister, Allison, who appeared on RHOA Season 15. More specifically, "She's been a big support system for me," Drew noted.
