ICYMI, the August 13 episode saw Drew host a mental health retreat as a show of support for her sister Allison. Ralph showed up, but as a producer pointed out to Drew on The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show, “The event start[ed] on a strange note because Ralph hug[ged] every woman in the room before he [got] to you.”

Ralph Pittman made Drew Sidora feel “awkward” and “embarrassed”

Looking back, Drew said the mental health retreat came at “an interesting time” for her and Ralph. Regardless, “Of course when you see your husband, you want him to greet you,” she said on the RHOA After Show. “I was really excited about [the event]. I thought we did an amazing job pulling it together [and] it was a lot of work. So I was just excited to see him, like, ‘You’re here!’ and when he did it, I was just like, ‘Oh, OK.’ A little awkward, a little embarrassed, just not really understanding why.”

“But we were a little off that day,” Drew added. “I’m not gonna lie, it was an off day.”

She didn’t go into detail, but she did note that the two “just weren’t communicating effectively” and they “weren't agreeing on a lot of things.”

Drew Sidora’s Thoughts on Ralph Pittman Quitting Marriage Counseling

The latest episode of RHOA also saw Ralph decide to give up on the marriage counseling sessions he and Drew had been attending. Reacting to the decision on the RHOA After Show, Drew said, “It was devastating because it was like, as long as we’re both working on the marriage, I felt like we could overcome anything. As long as we’re both here to talk and work and grow, I’m like, we’re good. So when he stopped coming to counseling, I was worried.”

Drew explained that she was particularly concerned because she and Ralph “would get in conversations sometimes, [and] it would go completely left.”

What’s more, “I definitely saw the red flags, like we’re not actually really truly in a better place,” she added. “And we just kinda never really dealt with it and so at this point, he no longer wanted to go to counseling.”

But the same couldn’t be said for Drew, so she continued to see her and Ralph’s therapist “just to help with my own mental health and stay focused on what’s important for me even though he wasn’t in counseling.”

“I was just really trying to get to a stronger place for myself,” Drew concluded. “Because [there were] so many issues that were going on with our marriage — some that y’all know about, some that y’all don’t know about.”
