Todd Tucker Revealed His Adorable Nickname for “Amazing Young Lady” Riley Burruss
Plus, RHOA’s Kandi Burruss also posted a sweet Instagram birthday tribute to her daughter.
When your mom is the Grammy-winning lead singer of Xscape, music is in your blood. In honor of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kandi Burruss’ daughter Riley Burruss’ 20th birthday, stepdad Todd Tucker dropped his adorably fitting nickname for her: R&B.
Asking his Instagram followers to join him in wishing “R&B [Riley Burruss] a big 20th birthday” on August 22, Todd also reflected on how “time is flying” while his stepdaughter continues “growing to become an amazing young lady.” Adding that he’s proud of the New York University student’s “many accomplishments,” he shared that “it’s been fun being [a part] of [her] journey.” In closing, he wished Riley “nothing but happiness, success, health, and wealth.”
Kandi, for her part, posted her own birthday tribute for Riley on Instagram the same day, also wondering where the time went. “One minute I was rocking you to sleep with your favorite bear [and] now you’re taller than me [and] trying to tell me what to do!” the RHOA ’Wife captioned the slideshow, which was set to Lizzo’s “Birthday Girl” track. “No matter how old you get you’ll always be my baby [and] I’ll always be here for you. I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become! You have so much going on [and] I can’t wait to see what this new year brings you. I love you soooooo much!”
After Kandi encouraged everyone to give Riley “some birthday love,” several of her famous followers obliged. They included such Bravolebrities as The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Candiace Dillard Bassett, Married to Medicine’s Dr. Heavenly Kimes, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Monyetta Shaw, as well as Jessie Woo and D. L. Hughley. Meanwhile, Kandi’s fellow Xscape member Tiny Harris revealed that her nickname for Riley is “Pooh,” and even Lizzo commented with several stuck-out tongue emojis.
The RHOA daughter seemed to appreciate all the birthday love, thanking Kandi and Todd and posting red heart emojis. Happy birthday, Riley!
