Riley Burruss Was Photographed in a Recording Studio and Now We Have Questions
Riley’s visit to a recording studio prompted Brooks Marks to ask her to “drop the album.”
Is Riley Burruss following in her mom’s famous musical footsteps already?!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta kid, who is the eldest daughter of longtime cast member and Xscape songstress Kandi Burruss, got fans talking when she posted a photo of herself sitting behind a mixing board at an Atlanta recording studio.
“Don’t play wit it,” she wrote in the caption of the January 5 post, though she didn’t share any details about a potential project or collaboration.
Though it’s unclear exactly what the college student was up to in the studio, it didn’t take long for the supportive comments to roll in from her loved ones.
Her mom simply commented with a heart-eyes emoji, while The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Brooks Marks posted, “Drop the album.”
“It’s [on the way],” Riley responded to Meredith Marks’ son.
As the children of Bravolebrities, Riley and Brooks have plenty in common, and the pair bonded over their experiences on the In the Know by AOL web series back in October.
After comparing and contrasting their journeys on their respective Real Housewives franchises, Riley revealed that she was interning for a record label because she wanted to “get more in the music industry.”
Though her mom is known for her voice — and for her Grammy Award–winning songwriting — Riley actually wants to tackle a different part of the industry.
“I want to work in the music industry, on the business side,” Riley told Brooks in the fall, before sharing that Kandi was her main inspiration. “So, of course, she played a huge role in that, just growing up, seeing her do music and then also work on the back end.”
Fans will have to stay tuned to find out what Riley’s next move will be in the studio (and if a collaboration with Kandi could be in the works).
