Erika Jayne Reveals if She Keeps in Touch with Her First Husband

Erika Jayne has experienced several personal ups and downs recently, and now she’s opening up about the people in her life who have been by her side through it all.

When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member recently spoke with The Daily Dish, she revealed that her first ex-husband, who also happens to be named Tom, has been among her close supporters, a group that includes several other important individuals, like her son, as she deals with her ups and downs. She noted that she remains "pretty tight" with her entire family — including her ex, even decades after they split.

“When you strip away all this stuff, they have been very supportive of me, and I’m very grateful,” she told The Daily Dish, sharing in the above video more insight into her relationship with her first husband (with whom she has her only child, Tommy) as well as her ex-husband’s relationship with her mom.

But her inner circle has more than family members to lean on, as Erika said she also calls on several other folks. “Well, Mikey [Minden]’s, you know, forever a friend… and I’m so appreciative of that because it’s been hard on me and I’ve leaned on him,” she said. “And my publicist Jack and my assistant Laia, who is at home taking care [of my dog] Tiago. So the three people that have been most supportive and I’m grateful to have them, because I wouldn’t have made it without them.”

Erika has also felt support from members of the RHOBH cast, noting that “support is built, like friendship, over time. So the more time you spend with people, the longer you have known them, you’re a little bit more supportive.”
