Kyle Richards is counting her friendship blessings this year.

On December 17, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills O.G. showed lots of love to her longtime pal and E! News host, Justin Sylvester, on Instagram. She posted a photo of her holding a ring box while the two were out with other friends, including Faye Resnick, for a pre-holiday meal in Beverly Hills.

"For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health..." Kyle wrote in the caption of her post, poking fun at the ring box featured in the photo. She also added a hashtag for "BFFs" in case it wasn't clear that the two are tight with one another.

Justin had a cheeky comment in response to the sentimental caption. "Who said the 'P' word?" he replied to his bestie's photo, while Dorit Kemsley shared that there was "true love" between the two.

The pop culture host re-shared the image on his own feed, and he also joked about he needed to come up with a couple name for himself and Kyle.

"There was 'Bennifer'... 'Brangelina'…" he wrote, along with a hashtag for "Name that Couple."

While the two are the best of friends now, they used to have a different very sort of relationship: Justin was once Kyle's personal assistant.

Back in June of 2022, to celebrate Pride Month, Justin chatted with TODAY about how Kyle encouraged him to live as his authentic self while he was still working for her.

"My first job was working for Kyle Richards," Justin shared about working as her assistant. "She was on [The] Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I started with her from Season 1, and during Season 2, someone had a 'Gays and Gals' party. She sat me down and she said, 'I really want you to come with me, but I know you’re not out to your family. And if you do this, the schtick is up."

Kyle offered Justin her full support, and that made all the difference for him to feel confident about calling his mom.

"If you do decide to do this, I will be with you every step of the way," Justin recounted about their conversation. He noted that the aforementioned conversation allowed him to feel comfortable pursuing his dream of being in front of the camera. The rest, as they say, is now history.
