Why Kyle Richards' Epic Backyard Party “Felt like BravoCon”

Kyle Richards' glam backyard bash, held during the July 15 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, didn't just raise money for a good cause, but was, of course, fabulous and over-the-top — and "cost me six figures," Kyle shared in the episode. It also had an incredible guest list, that included Kris Jenner and RHOBH ladies both past and present.

And Kyle found the perfect way to describe the night (which will continue to play out during the July 22 episode of RHOBH). "So many familiar faces," she wrote. "It felt like BravoCon at my home."

Previously in an interview with BravoTV.com, Kyle opened up a bit more about the party. "I've been working with Children's Hospital for years now, and it's the charity that's nearest and dearest to my heart," she said. "I've thrown parties for a lot more people, but because it was my first time throwing an actual fundraiser with a live auction and a silent auction — I mean I have auctioneers and everything — and a performance, I really wanted to keep it sort of manageable."

Among the RHOBH alums on the guest list were "familiar faces" like Camille Grammer, Faye Resnick, Kim Richards, Eileen Davidson, Adrienne Maloof (as well as her ex, Paul Nassif, and his current wife, Brittany), and Brandi Glanville.

Speaking of Brandi, some of the RHOBH cast members and alums shared their take on her appearance at the bash. Alum Kim Richards called Brandi her "BFF Forever." (You can hear more about their bond in the RHOBH After Show above.)

And Erika Girardi shared her take on it on Wednesday's WWHL. "No, I'm not surprised [Brandi and Kyle are OK now]. Kim is their link and it was great to see Brandi. Brandi's a good time," Erika said.

In the end, though, the night really was about catching up with friends and family, and supporting a good cause.

"My husband [Mauricio Umansky] and I were proud to host our first fundraiser in our home for @childrensla Having @wilsonphillipsmusic there made the night! Thank you to everyone who came and supported this charity that means so much to us," Kyle wrote on Instagram.
