Does Emily Simpson Keep in Touch with Vicki Gunvalson?
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member revealed when she last spoke to Vicki.
After five years together, Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge broke up in September 2021 following their engagement back in 2019. And then, earlier this month, it was confirmed that Steve is engaged again. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum has since been keeping busy with her friends and family — and she's been feeling the support from those in the Bravo-verse, including Emily Simpson.
"No [I haven't talked to her]. I think Vicki blocked me, like years ago, and I'm still blocked," Emily said on the January 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "No, I wasn't shocked [about the breakup news]."
Emily added, "I feel badly, though, because I think Vicki deserves someone who treats her the way she should be treated. I like Vicki. I think she was great on the show. I think she deserves someone that treats her with respect and love, and she needs that."
In a recent episode of the podcast Two T's In A Pod, Vicki's longtime BFF, Tamra Judge, offered an update on how Vicki is doing in the wake of the news of Steve's engagement. "Vicki is adjusting, she's trying to understand it, she's still hurt. She's really sad about it, she's having a hard time. She just can't understand. She doesn't want to be single," Tamra said, according to PEOPLE. "She's coming up on her 60th birthday and all she can talk about is, 'I don't want to be single! I am 60, I want to be in a relationship!' But I think that she dodged a bullet with that one. He's been engaged seven times."
Tamra noted during the early January podcast episode that she talks to her pal "every single day" since she and Steve went their separate ways. And Andy Cohen has also showed his support for Vicki following the Steve engagement news, not only on the January 12 episode of WWHL but also on a previous episode of the talk show.
