Braunwyn Windham-Burke Teases a “New Job” Among Other Big Life Changes
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum hinted at some major shifts and admitted, “I'm scared (like really.)”
Change can be scary, but Braunwyn Windham-Burke is taking it in stride. On March 3, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared a life update on Instagram, teasing a “new job” and other major shifts.
The post included an inspirational quote from Mel Robbins. “A secret to happiness is letting every situation be what it is instead of what you think it should be, and making the best of it,” the statement reads. And it sounds like the mother of seven is doing just that.
“There’s a lot of change coming,” Braunwyn wrote in her caption. And that may be an understatement. “New state, new job, new home, new schools, new family dynamic,” she continued.
With her typical candor, the newlywed (kind of — more on that below) opened up about how she’s feeling in the face of so much change. “I’m scared (like really),” she wrote. “But I keep reminding myself to take it one day at a time, put one foot in front of the other and believe everything happens for a reason (with an occasional day to just cry).”
The California native tagged several people, including her girlfriend, Jennifer Spinner; her mother, “Dr. Deb”; and her stepfather, Brian. “Thank you… for being by my side,” she wrote.
Back in February, Braunwyn celebrated her “wedding day” with Jennifer. The couple did not have a marriage license for the Valentine’s Day ceremony in Las Vegas. While the marriage is not official (yet), the couple’s commitment to each other is.
In a post commemorating the special day, Jennifer wrote, “If soulmates are a thing, [Braunwyn is] definitely mine. Thank you for the best [seven] months and for making me into a Valentine’s Day believer. Here’s to making reckless and ‘cringe’ decisions together for the rest of our lives.”
And while there’s no marriage license, Jennifer and Braunwyn’s commitment is in ink. The couple recently got matching tattoos of mountains. “We love to road-trip, we love to wander, we love to travel, so [Jennifer] was like, ‘Why don’t we get the mountains and sort of [capture] our journey together?’” Braunwyn told Page Six Style. “And there you have it.”
Braunwyn is currently in the process of divorcing her estranged husband, Sean Burke, and she confirmed that her next marriage is in the works. “There will be a time where I do the getting down on one knee … It’s not even a possibility,” she shared. “We are going to actually get married. We talk about it all the time.”
