Dr. Jen Armstrong Just Shared a HUGE Career Update: “Let’s Get Out and Do This”
The RHOC alum revealed all about the major honor she recently received.
The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Dr. Jen Armstrong is a top doc — and she has the prize to prove it. The cosmetic dermatologist just received a new career-related accolade that could cure even the worst case of the Mondays.
Showing off her Top 100 Registry’s 2022 Doctor of the Year plaque in a September 19 Instagram post, Jen described the award, which recognized her “outstanding efforts and achievements in the field of dermatology” as “an honor.” After wishing her “patients, friends, and all of the above” a happy start to the workweek, she asked them to share their own “Monday Motivation,” since hers was already obvious.
“Let’s get out and do this thing,” she wrote, adding two flexed biceps emojis.
Among the commenters was RHOC’s Peggy Tanous, who wrote, “Congratulations sweetie,” adding a red heart emoji. The Armstrong MD owner, for her part, replied, “Thank you so much,” along with two red heart emojis of her own.
After sharing her journey as a working mom on RHOC Season 16, Jen confirmed in a July 8 statement that she will not return to the show. “My family and my work are the most important aspects of my life, so I am stepping away from RHOC and focusing on them,” the mother of three wrote, in part, about her exit.
Thanking those who “reached out in support” — especially the working moms — she added, “Women can really have it all if you work for it. I believe in you, and I’ll still be here to chat about it with you. I love inspiring people to be their best. I am forever grateful for the friends I made, and the lovely people at [Bravo and Evolution Media]. Here’s to the next chapter, and I hope you’ll follow along for the journey. There are so many exciting things to come, so stay tuned.”
Her latest award may be just the tip of the iceberg of those “exciting things.”
