Tamra Judge Reveals an Update on Eddie’s Health and Shares His Recent Milestone
The RHUGT cast member and RHOC alum shared an update on her husband’s heart condition.
In the years since Eddie Judge first opened up about being diagnosed with the heart condition A-fib, he has kept fans up to date on how he’s doing in his health journey. And in case you’re wondering, Tamra Judge recently shared with The Daily Dish that her husband “feels great” these days.
“He does definitely need to go back and do a follow-up ’cause of COVID. His doctor was in Houston and he wasn’t able to go back after his last ablation. There was talk of him having an implant put in his heart so he can get off blood thinners. So that’s something he has to go do here in the next couple of months, but overall, he feels great,” The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip cast member shared about Eddie’s life today (Eddie first shared his diagnosis back in 2018). “He’s in great shape again. He just did his first Spartan [Race earlier this month].”
In fact, Eddie, who The Real Housewives of Orange County fans know is a trainer and fitness expert who owns and runs CUT Fitness with Tamra, recently posted about getting back into Spartan Races. “When life throws obstacles at you, how would you prepare to dominate the obstacles? That’s what Spartan Race is all about for me,” he wrote. “Prepare to dominate life. One race at a time.”
Tamra further noted that they, of course, also include fitness in their relationship. “We run together. We work out together, and he looks good,” she said. “He’s 49 years old. He keeps telling me, ‘God, I’m really starting to feel old.’ I’m like, ‘Just talk to me when you’re 50, OK?’” she joked.
When Eddie spoke to The Daily Dish back in 2019, he revealed how his A-fib diagnosis changed how he sees the world around him. “I think the biggest change in my life is that I’m a lot more cognizant of everybody’s heart. As a trainer, I’m always considering everybody else and their fitness, their health, their wellness. I’m just in that space, so it’s really important for me to see how everybody’s doing teaching my classes. So it’s really helped me help my clients and really understand the vulnerability we have with our hearts,” he said at the time. “We really are not made out of steel. We really are vulnerable.”
In a separate interview with The Daily Dish back in 2018, Tamra reflected on what it was like to hear about Eddie’s health issues and how their family handled the news.
