Shannon Storms Beador Says John Janssen “Wasn’t Happy” About This RHOC Season 16 Moment

Shannon Storms Beador's boyfriend, John Janssen, caused a stir on this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County when he commented on the fallout between his girlfriend and Gina Kirschenheiter. However, there was actually another moment during RHOC Season 16 that really had John cringing, according to Shannon.

During Part 2 of the RHOC Season 16 reunion, which aired on April 27, we were reminded of one moment from the season in which Shannon opened up about her sex life with John. As the cast rewatched the clip, Shannon let it slip that John wasn't exactly thrilled about her being so candid about what goes on between them in the bedroom. "Oh yeah... he wasn't happy," she said under her breath during the video montage.

As Shannon reflected on her journey since joining RHOC in Season 9, she shared the advice she would give to herself back then: "That there is life beyond, and you can succeed on your own. And you don't need anybody. I just thought that I was trapped in this life and that, accept it, put a smile on your face, and this is as good as it's gonna get."

Though some viewers thought John was avoiding a question about marriage earlier this season, Shannon said at the reunion that it has been on the couple's minds. "We do talk about it, but it's not something that we need to rush to do," she explained (clip above). "We're happy. I have two kids [17-year-old twin daughters Stella and Adeline] that are gonna be home for another year and a half, so I'm not doing anything right now. He knows that."

Shannon added that she "absolutely" wants to get married again. But for now, things are going swimmingly for Shannon and John, including their intimacy. "Oh my gosh, I mean, it's just some of it's in your head," Shannon said when asked about her "secret" to having such a successful sex life now. "When you're happy and you're with someone, everything is better."

As for John's aforementioned comments about Gina, Shannon noted earlier in the reunion that her boyfriend regretted what he said in the heat of the moment. "On behalf of John, I apologize, because he's not proud of what he said," Shannon shared (clip below). "But I know where he was coming from, out of his love for me."

Shannon and John are still going strong today, as evidenced by their many adventures with friends and family captured by the OC Housewife on Instagram over the past few months. There's no shortage of heart emojis in the captions.
