It’s been several months since Vicki Gunvalson’s engagement to Steve Lodge ended. And she was definitely feeling the sting of the breakup in the Season 2 premiere of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which is currently streaming on Peacock (you can check out a little preview above).

Vicki and Steve had literally just broken up as she was heading out on the trip, but at least she had her BFF, Tamra Judge, to lean on for support as she dealt with a broken heart.

Tamra recently spoke with The Daily Dish about what that experience was like for her, as she was navigating the vacation and her friend’s emotional state. “Vicki came in a very bad place in her life. She had just come off of COVID, she still had congestion and [a] sinus infection, and then Steve broke up with her,” Tamra recalled. “And he was moving out while we were there, so she was really down and out the first couple episodes. She was really kinda negative, and I really felt like I had to take care of her, because I knew where she was coming from and I knew that she was really upset.”

Vicki opened up a bit about the breakup when she arrived at Blue Stone Manor, and as Tamra noted, she eventually found some time to whoop it up as the trip went on. “She didn’t really wanna talk... she said she didn’t wanna talk about the Steve stuff, but of course, you know, in Vicki fashion, she does. And so I really kinda felt like I was a little bit of her babysitter, and then she got out of it a little bit and she started to have fun.”

While fans will have to see how Vicki's post-breakup emotions play out during Season 2 of RHUGT, Vicki has shared an exciting update on her personal life. She’s found love again with a new guy named Michael (they have even gone Instagram official). This news definitely pleases Tamra, as you would imagine.

“I think she’s happy. She is traveling a lot, working a lot, and spending time with this new guy,” The Real Housewives of Orange County alum noted about Vicki’s new POV. “I told her, I need a blood sample, I need a urine sample. I need a driver’s license number. I’m gonna do a full background check on this one. She says she’s taking it slow with this guy, and, you know, I hope she is.”

There has been yet another new development in Vicki’s relationship with Michael, as he recently met her family, including her daughter, Briana Culberson, and her grandkids. Vicki spoke about it with Extra, sharing, “So my daughter and him got along great. The grandkids called him ‘the big guy’ because he’s big… So it was fun. Brought him to Illinois for the weekend, and I was really proud of him, he was really incredible.”

We guess you could say Vicki’s love tank is full.

The first three of Season 2’s seven episodes are available now, with a new episode available to stream each Thursday. Of course, fans can also binge Season 1 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip on Peacock now.
