Tamra Judge Opens Up About Undergoing Surgery: “Wish Me Luck”
The RHOC cast member revealed that she is undergoing abdominal surgery in a series of candid Instagram posts.
The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge shared an update on her health this week. She revealed to her fans that she is undergoing surgery, sharing insights into the procedure via several social media posts.
While she didn’t go into detail about why she needed the surgery, she shared earlier this week on Twitter, “Trying out my old lady recliner. Abdominal surgery in the morning. Wish me luck.”
After opening up about needing surgery, Tamra later posted a photo of her husband, Eddie Judge, driving her to the procedure on December 30, writing on her Instagram Stories, “Let’s do this! My stomach is in knots and people that know me, know [exactly] what that means.”
The RHOC cast member later posted photos from her hospital bed alongside her doctor. “Here we go,” she captioned one photo, captioning another, “I’m ready.”
Tamra has always been open about her health over the years. In years prior, she went into detail about how she had to undergo surgery for a hernia, and she has been equally candid about being diagnosed with skin cancer in the past. She and Eddie have also taken fans inside his health struggles after he was diagnosed with the heart condition A-fib several years ago.
Back in July, Tamra confirmed she was returning to RHOC for the upcoming Season 17. “I think being off for two years is probably the best thing you could have ever done to me, even though I didn’t like it. But yeah, I was on the show for 12 years. Once you’re on for that long, you become a professional ‘Housewife,’” she said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen at the time. “You go on to live a normal life, and you come back and you’re like, ‘I was kind of an a--hole.’ So you come back with a different perspective. And I saw that when I filmed [The Real Housewives] Ultimate Girls Trip. I totally felt it.”
