One of the Ladies of London Gets in the Middle of Caroline Stanbury and Chanel Ayan’s Drama
Plus, see the dramatic ending to Caroline Brooks and Sara Al Madani’s talk at Caroline Stanbury’s engagement party.
It’s been one step forward, two steps back in Caroline Stanbury and Chanel Ayan’s attempt to form a solid friendship on this season of The Real Housewives of Dubai. And Ayan’s attire at Stanbury’s engagement party certainly didn’t help things as the bride-to-be accused the supermodel of wearing a wedding dress to the event.
Well, this couture controversy is far from over in the above first look at the upcoming July 27 episode of RHODubai. As the engagement party continues, Stanbury is definitely not over Ayan’s outfit. “Did you see? She came as me to the f--king wedding,” Stanbury is overheard saying at the party. “She came in a veil. In a blonde wig. Who the f--k does that?”
Stanbury then confronts Ayan about her dress, explaining why she thinks it was inappropriate for her to wear it to the engagement party. However, Ayan stands by her look in speaking with Stanbury and in an interview during the episode. “I was told to wear white, honey. It’s not my problem if I upstage the bride,” she says. “The bride knows I’m coming. I always look good. [I’m doing] nothing to upstage the bride; I just always look good.”
But one of Stanbury’s fellow Ladies of London has her back, underscoring her point by telling the women, “I’m trying to figure out who’s getting married.”
Press play on the above clip to see how Ayan reacts to that comment, as well as the dramatic conclusion to Caroline Brooks and Sara Al Madani’s conversation about parenting, which ends with someone leaving the party early.
Speaking of Ladies of London, some familiar faces from that crew join the Dubai Housewives to break bread following Stanbury’s wedding to Sergio Carrallo. Things get serious when the discussion turns to Stanbury and Sergio’s plans to start a family together. It’s all in the preview clip below.
