Did Melissa and Joe Gorga Attend Teresa Giudice and Luis "Louie" Ruelas’ Rehearsal Dinner?
Ahead of the wedding, Louie said he felt "sick" about the family drama between his wife-to-be and her brother.
The wedding drama is coming to a head on Season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
After Teresa Giudice and Luis "Louie" Ruelas tied the knot in New Jersey on August 6, RHONJ fans learned that her brother, Joe Gorga, and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, did not attend the wedding. Since Season 13 premiered in February, viewers have also seen the deterioration of the siblings' relationship. And now, ahead of the finale, they learned that Melissa and Joe also decided to skip another major wedding event.
The revelation came just a few days before the nuptials took place, as Teresa and Louie sat down to finalize a few of the details of the big day.
"Melissa hasn't RSVP'd for the rehearsal dinner, so I text[ed] Melissa — here we go again," Teresa explained on Episode 14, which aired May 9.
"She wants us to chase," Louie said, before Teresa had him read Melissa's message, in which she declined the rehearsal party invitation, aloud.
"'Hi, no we cannot [attend]'..." Louie read from Melissa's text to Teresa. "'We are only around on the wedding day.' I don't want to read anymore. It literally makes me sick."
Following Louie and Teresa's wedding day, the foursome hasn't been able to make peace. When Melissa and Teresa reunited for the first time to film the Season 13 reunion, the sisters-in-law continued to go "back and forth."
“I’ve got to tell you, the level — I won’t even say vitriol, I will just say hate — between Teresa and Melissa, it’s… I mean, the gloves are off," reunion host Andy Cohen shared on the April 24 broadcast of his Sirius XM series, Radio Andy. "I’ve never seen anything like it. And the way the two of them were going back and forth, it was that thing of neither wanted the other to have the last word in any petty fight.”
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host "almost walked off at one point" because things got so intense between the family members on set.
“By the time I was going to, I was just so annoyed," he said. He also revealed that some of that annoyance was directed towards Teresa.
“There was a moment where I turned to Teresa — I apologized to her later — [and] I didn’t yell at her, but I think I lost my s--t with her in a way that I haven’t maybe ever," he added.
See it all go down on RHONJ Season 13.
