Dolores Reveals Where Paulie and Frank Stand Today and Shares Thoughts on Getting Remarried
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member also shared how her boyfriend reacted to Frank’s reunion insult last year.
Dolores Catania and Paul “Paulie” Connell’s relationship is still going strong, but what about the one between Paulie and Dolores’ ex, Frank Catania?
A viewer asked this very question during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, February 7, in addition to inquiring about Paulie’s reaction to the comment Frank made about him during The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 12 reunion. As fans may recall, Frank said, “What do I think of Paulie? He looks like Buzz Lightyear.”
Dolores revealed on WWHL that she was subsequently forced to relay the comment to Paulie, but thankfully, “He laughed,” she said. “He was like, ‘That’s pretty funny.’ ... He took it like a man. He took it well.”
Plus, as Paulie pointed out from his seat in the Bravo Clubhouse audience, Buzz Lightyear is a “superhero.”
The two men have since moved past the drama, and Frank even “had a blanket made for [Paulie] with his face on Buzz Lightyear for Christmas,” Dolores revealed. She then gave an update on her love life that did not involve Frank after a viewer asked when Paulie is going to propose.
“How do I know?!” she responded. “We have talked about a future together, [but] specifically, marriage isn’t the biggest goal in this relationship. Happiness is.”
