Jennifer Aydin Explains Why She *Really* Called Margaret Josephs a “Boogawolf”
The RHONJ cast member used the diss on the Ireland trip, and now we have a definition for the term “boogawolf.”
A lot has happened on The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Season 13 trip to Ireland. There’s been bus drama, sightseeing, Guinness, a bachelorette party, and the moment when Jennifer Aydin called Margaret Josephs a “boogawolf” amid their ongoing drama.
That moment in particular left the group nearly speechless while out and about in Ireland. A lot of insults have been hurled over the years on The Real Housewives, but this one had the RHONJ cast perplexed, with them literally trying to figure out in real time on the trip what the term means. But now Jennifer is offering up some answers, and thankfully, a definition for those equally confused and looking for insight into the moment.
What Is a Boogawolf?
Jennifer, who said she learned the term from one of her friends, offered a definition on The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show, sharing that the meaning of boogawolf is a “very ugly, nasty person to the core… a busted club chick.”
Margaret’s Response to Being Called a Boogawolf
Margaret responded to the insult, sharing on the RHONJ After Show, “That’s her best insult. I have legendary club looks.” From there, in the RHONJ After Show video at the top of the post, Margaret offered up her own dig for Jennifer. She further noted, “I am very maintained.”
The RHONJ Ladies Reacts to the Meaning of Boogawolf
Turns out, the RHONJ cast has a lot of feelings about the term, and some of the women even think they might be the boogawolf instead of Margaret. (Spoiler alert: It’s Jennifer Fessler, and she offers an explanation on the RHONJ After Show. Oh, BTW, it turns out Jackie Goldschneider has an unexpected place where she thinks she acts like a boogawolf.)
Dolores Catania had a lot of feelings about the term too. “It’s a stupid f--king word,” Dolores, who has experienced her own tensions with Jennifer Aydin, said. “And even if I wanted to call somebody a bad word, it wouldn’t be that.”
Turns out, Teresa Giudice, who has experienced her own issues with Margaret over the years, feels differently, as she called the term “very witty.”
Melissa Gorga suggested an alternate diss: “How about a good old ‘f--k you’?”
