Teresa and Joe Giudice Look Back at *Those* Photos of Him in Mexico With Other Women
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey husband called the photos "embarrassing."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband Joe Giudice are currently on great terms, but that hasn't always been the case.
One such time when things were a bit more contentious? When Joe was photographed partying with other women in Mexico roughly one month after reports surfaced that he and Teresa had separated after 20 years of marriage.
Now, the former couple is looking back at the fallout from the 2020 incident on the latest episode of Teresa's Namaste B$tches podcast. The topic arose after Teresa's co-host, Melissa Pfeister, asked where things between the two went wrong.
For starters, they weren't even living in the same country. "It was not gonna work because he was in Italy. I was in the United States," Teresa explained. "It was gonna be very difficult. And I didn't know if he was gonna be faithful or not so I was just not gonna stand for that."
The two reportedly went their own ways in December 2019 (but without filing for divorce). Then, in February 2020, the Mexico photos hit the internet.
As Teresa put it on the podcast, "Didn't you go to Mexico and you were hanging out with a whole bunch of girls with G-strings?"
"I was like, 'This is not going to happen. I'm not going to be one of those women that's going to deal with that bulls--t,'" Teresa added. "I'm not going to do that."
Joe, meanwhile, called the photos "the icing on the cake."
"It was embarrassing for me and my kids, honestly," he continued. "I'm so embarrassed, but whatever. It happens. It's over."
Joe and Teresa officially divorced in September 2020. However, as the RHONJ cast member said on Namaste B$tches, they're "in a good place" now.
