Joe Gorga Shares Big Career News: “I’m Back!”
The RHONJ husband revealed what he's going to do next. Here's why it's a major full-circle moment.
Joe Gorga is ready for more laughs.
The husband of The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga may have a background in construction, but he's been pursuing a stand-up comedy career since 2019 as well. And after making his stand-up debut with comedians Tammy Pescatelli and and Mike Marino in the winter of 2019, Joe's next comedy move is a full-circle moment. Find out what the RHONJ husband is up to next by scrolling below.
Joe Gorga's Career News
The dad of three took to Instagram on August 28 to share that he will soon be taking on another comedy show performance in October. This time around, he'll be reuniting with comedian Mike Marino — who he performed with during his first-ever stand-up routine — for the show.
"I'm Back! See you October 14th in Princeton, New Jersey!! Gonna be a fun night with [Mike Marino] !" Joe wrote in the caption of his post announcing the show, which will take place at the Catch a Rising Star comedy club.
Tickets will range in price from $99 to $150.
As previously mentioned, Joe is no stranger to the comedy scene. Two years after his comedy debut in 2019, Joe performed a sold-out show at Caroline's on Broadway.
"If someone told me 10 years ago that [Joe] would be performing comedy live on Broadway one day I would never believe them," Melissa wrote on Instagram at the time. "Proud wifey!!"
Joe and Melissa Gorga's Lives Lately
Joe's latest career update isn't the only major event he's had going on in his life. The RHONJ husband and Melissa just hit a major milestone as parents when they dropped their eldest child, Antonia Gorga, off at college for her freshman year.
The 18-year-old is attending the University of Delaware, and she shared some insight into her packing journey and her dorm room move-in on Instagram.
The night before Antonia left home, she enjoyed an Italian feast with her family featuring pasta, red sauce, and sausage and peppers as her "last dinner before college."
Just a few days before they helped Antonia move in, Melissa and Joe also celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary.
“You are my everything, and I am forever grateful for the beautiful memories we’ve created together,” Joe wrote in part of the caption on an Instagram post for his anniversary. "Here’s to many more years of laughter, adventures, and a love that continues to grow stronger each day."
"Thank [you] for always holding it down and keeping your promise," Melissa shared in a portion of the caption on her anniversary post.
A day later, she posted again for Joe's birthday.
"You are one of a kind, they don't make them like you anymore," she shared on her spouse's birthday. "I am so grateful to have you."
Based on Joe's comedy news and Antonia's recent move, the Gorgas have plenty going on these days.
