Andy Cohen Says They're Planning to Film the RHONY Season 12 Reunion In Person with "a Lot of Protocols"
The WWHL host laid out the important steps being taken to ensure a safe reunion shoot.
Andy Cohen said that they are planning to film The Real Housewives of New York City Season 12 reunion with the cast in person
"The cat's out of the bag... I guess I will just officially confirm it. It is looking like we will be doing our RHONY reunion in person. I’m very excited," Andy said on Radio Andy this week.
However, the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host noted that important steps are being taken to make sure it's safe. "There are a lot of protocols. Everybody has to get tested [for COVID-19]. There's very few crew; there's very few people allowed. We’re all six feet apart. I don't think raising voices is going to be a concern because with that group. Hopefully this is gonna go well," he said. "This is very exciting to me. No, it's not an outdoor venue, but it is definitely a spaced-out venue."
This marks the first reunion filmed in person since the pandemic. Reunions moved to remote filming due to social distancing amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Recent remote reunions include Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 reunion, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 reunion, the Summer House Season 4 reunion, as well as the Shahs of Sunset Season 8 reunion, and the upcoming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 reunion.
