Get to Know RHONY Season 14 Cast Member Sai De Silva

Andy Cohen closed out BravoCon 2022 with an exciting casting announcement for the upcoming Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City.

During a special edition of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Andy introduced BravoCon attendees and viewers to the newest apple holders. 

The seven ladies who will be appearing on the next season of the New York City franchise are Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, Erin Lichy, Ubah Hassan, Lizzy Savetsky, Jessel Taank, and Sai De Silva.

Sai has deep roots in New York City, and she admitted during BravoCon that she’s long been a fan of The Real Housewives. Find out more about Sai below!

Who is RHONY Season 14 cast member Sai De Silva?

The Season 14 lineup features a mix of New York natives and more recent transplants, and Sai is one of the cast members who has been living in the Empire State off and on since she was a child. 

Sai was born in Los Angeles but moved to New York when she was 2 years old. Though she moved around throughout her life, she notes on her website that she “always came back to [New York].”

Sai works as a content creator and fashion blogger.

Like fellow Season 14 cast members Jenna, Lizzy, Jessel, and Brynn, Sai has a passion for fashion — and social media. Sai runs the Scout the City blog, which features posts about her outfits and content about other lifestyle topics such as food, travel, and fitness.

In addition to her blog posts, Sai uploads “funny fashion” vlogs on YouTube each week on Saturdays. Her channel has more than 50,000 subscribers.

Is Sai De Silva married?

The content creator married David Craig in 2009. While Sai is getting ready to put her life on display on RHONY, her husband is more private. Though Sai documents much of her life on social media, she has not shared photos of her husband.

“He likes his privacy,” Sai wrote on Scout the City. “In a world where we share everything, it’s nice to have something that is private in my life. It keeps my sanity and I also think having a little mystery is fun. However, he is very involved when it comes to his family and I think he should win an award for father of the year!”

Sai's two kids are named after cities.

The Season 14 cast member and her husband have a son and a daughter. Both children are named after cities: London Scout and Rio Dash.

Sai named her website after her daughter’s middle name. 

She was a fan of RHONY before she joined the cast.

During a fan Q&A at a BravoCon 2022 taping of the WWHL After Show, Sai confirmed she was a fan of The Real Housewives franchise before she joined the cast of RHONY herself.

“We are all pretty much junkies of the Housewives franchise or else we would not be here,” Sai explained.

Season 14 of RHONY is expected to premiere in 2023.
