Is Ashley Darby Really Getting a Divorce?

Exes living together isn’t exactly new to The Real Housewives of Potomac cast, and Ashley Darby definitely reminded fans of that when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, October 9. During her appearance in the Clubhouse, Ashley addressed a fan question regarding Robyn Dixon “throwing shade” at her for her living situation, which Ashley opened up about on the Season 7 premiere, revealing that she and her estranged husband had plans to buy a home together under an LLC.

A fan asked Ashley how she felt about Robyn sharing her thoughts and concerns on Ashley and her ex, Michael Darby, buying a home together, considering Robyn lived with Juan Dixon after they divorced but before they reconciled. “I do think she cares about me. She’s coming from a good place,” Ashley said on WWHL. “But ultimately, yeah, she’s throwing shade, but she was sitting right under the tree.”

Ashley went on to address the RHOP “women’s concern[s]” about their home purchase plans, adding, “I actually found it kinda comical that everyone got so upset about it and questioned it so much. Michael is a real estate developer. He does it for a living,” she said. “And buying a house is hard work, honey. So if he can make the process a little easier, then I’m just gonna do that with him. And we’re still legally married.”

Speaking of the current status on the divorce proceedings, she shared more about that on WWHL, revealing, “I am six months into my separation, and in the state of Virginia, it takes a year. So I have six more months to go.”
