Here's an Emotional First Look at the RHOSLC Season 2 Finale
Heather Gay opens up about her late father in this exclusive preview of the February 20 episode.
Heather Gay has always been open about how her decision to leave the Mormon church greatly impacted her life, particularly affecting her relationship with her family. Though some of Heather's loved ones have also left the church, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member is opening up even more about the remaining rift in her family, as well as her late father's legacy, in an exclusive first look courtesy of Bravo Insider.
In the above preview of the upcoming February 20 episode of RHOSLC, Heather and her family gather together for a touching tribute to her late father, John, at his memorial. “It’s been a year since my dad passed away suddenly, and when he died, it was in the middle of the pandemic," Heather says, explaining how they weren't able to get together to honor her father's passing at the time. "And now, a year later, it feels like the perfect time to have a celebration of life."
Though Heather’s niece, nephew, brother, and daughters are among the loved ones in attendance for her father's memorial, Heather notes how hurt she is by the absence of several other family members, including her sister, Nancy. As fans may recall, Heather reconnected with her younger sister during the trip to Vail, where they spoke about plans to honor their father with a celebration of life.
“There are quite a few people that I invited today that did not show up," Heather says in the preview clip, above. "My sisters, my brother, my mom. I mean, Nancy hasn’t been a Mormon since she was 16, but she still refused to come to the memorial."
