Later This Season on Below Deck...

Well, look who it is.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

It was revealed at the end of the November 18 episode of Below Deck that Rhylee Gerber would be coming back to join the crew this season to fill in the deckhand position left open after Abbi Murphy's departure. And if the above preview of what's to come later on this season of Below Deck is any indication, Rhylee hasn't lost that fiery spirit of hers that we've come to know and love one bit.

So, how does the Below Deck Season 7 crew really feel about Rhylee climbing aboard the Valor? Brian de Saint Pern, for one, is happy to have her as a part of the team. "Rhylee!!!!! Welcome back girl," he tweeted during Monday night's episode.

Kate Chastain also recently told Decider that she welcomed Rhylee back with open arms. “I think that this is the perfect time and the perfect person to come in because I think that the boys onboard are becoming a little too much of a fraternity,” she said. “I think Rhylee’s good at her job, I’m happy to have her back because I like her, so I’m happy for so many reasons.”

The chief stew added, “Rhylee shakes things up wherever she goes. Animals fear her, deckhands fear her, men fear her: as they should.”

As you can see in the above sneak peek, Ashton Pienaar didn't exactly share the same sentiment as Kate. “Her coming on again, I couldn’t get emotional, I couldn’t get flustered," he told Decider. "My biggest thing was just not to bring baggage from last season and give her the opportunities that she didn’t have last season. Let’s play it her way, give her what she wants, and let’s see what we’ll get out of Rhylee then.”

We'll have to wait and see what kind of dynamic transpires between Ashton and Rhylee this season. However, the bosun noted to Decider that he was ultimately thankful this "massive curveball" was thrown at him this season. "It’s taught me a lot about myself. It taught me a lot about what I was capable of. I wasn’t perfect throughout the whole relationship between Rhylee and me throughout the season, there’s a lot that I could’ve done differently and that I could learn from," he shared. "At the end of the day, at the end of the season, that’s what counts: it’s what you take from the season and how you learn from it.”

Ashton and Rhylee won't be the only two crew members clashing this season of Below Deck. Watch a sneak peek of an all-new episode coming up at 9/8c, below.
