If the Housewives Were Olympians: Tennis Edition
Check out these gold-medal worthy performances.
While the Bravolebs take a backseat to the Olympic tennis matches, we are reminded that our ladies know a thing or two about swinging a racket. The Hamptons provides a stark contrast (and lacks the same delicious food) to the international stage of Rio de Janiero, the Housewives don't back down from a tennis challenge regardless of the occasion. Step aside, Serena and Venus Williams; Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan are a force to be reckoned with on the court. We're just not sure who we'd rather see in the actual Olympics: the Housewives or Southern Charm's Shep Rose? Queue Katy Perry's Olympic anthem and check out the best Housewives (and husbands) tennis moments to help you decide.
1. Ramona and the hot Pro vs. Mario and Sonja, The Real Housewives of New York City Season 5
Not even dilapidated shoes or a cute tennis pro can throw Sonja off her game. We think she'd fare pretty well amongst the Olympians in Rio. Mario Singer may disagree, but one thing's for sure: Ramona and Sonja have mastered the art of celebration.
2. Tamra's Lesson, The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 3
We all know Tamra Judge heads to the gym for intense workouts, but back in the day she used to head to the court. Even back then Tamra had an serious drive to succeed. While her game could use a little more practice, we think her outfit is Olympic-ready.
3. Ramona and Mario vs. Luann and Jacques, The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6
Ramona's game may be lacking, but Coach Mario's intensity is perfect for the Olympics. Kristen Taekman and her husband were eliminated early due to unacceptable gear and Luann de Lesseps and former flame Jacques just wanted to have a good time. Sounds like a normal weekend in the Hamptons, Housewives-style.
4. Mauricio vs. Ken, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2
Take a seat, ladies; it's the husbands' turn to take the court. Mauricio Umansky and Ken Todd both possess an Olympic-caliber drive, complete with Olympic-sized trash talk. Ken doesn't even let the Mayor of Beverly Hills get in his way during a game.
5. Avery Singer is the MVP, The Real Housewives of New York City Season 4
We finally see the real tennis star of the Singer family: daughter Avery. However, she didn't get her skills out of nowhere. As we've seen in the previous clips, both Ramona and Mario are big fans of the sport as well.
6. Jill and Ali, The Real Housewives of New York City Season 1
Jill Zarin is in it to win it at all costs. She enlists the help of her tennis pro to strategize on how to beat Ramona. We think Jill may want to consider a new strategy and simply bring a chiseled partner next time she plays.
