Scheana Shay and Brock Davies Are Engaged: "I SAID YES!!!!!"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared the engagement news, which comes just months after she welcomed her daughter.
As it turns out, 2021 is shaping out to be a big year for Scheana Shay and Brock Davies. One might say, it's all happening for the couple.
Back in April, Scheana welcomed their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies (Scheana's first child), and on Friday (July 23), she confirmed on Instagram that they are engaged.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared the big news with her fans along with a sweet moment from the proposal. "I SAID YES!!!!! We are engaged!!!" she wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to [Brock] for making me the happiest girl in the world."
Brock also posted the big news to Instagram, captioning another photo from the proposal: "I need you…."
It's been a pretty wild ride for the couple, who has experienced a lot of emotional moments in less than two years of being together. Scheana and Brock began dating in September 2019. A few months later, they went Bravo official at BravoCon 2019. Then cut to early 2020, and amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple moved in together. In June of that year, Scheana suffered a miscarriage, but that sad news was followed up by the happy news that she was pregnant again, which she confirmed in October of 2020.
Since giving birth this past spring, Scheana hasn't missed a chance to share adorable photos of daughter Summer.
In an interview with Bravo Insider earlier this year, Scheana shed some light on why she and Brock make such a great match. "I think we just are such a great balance for each other, honestly. We both don't put up with each other's s--t, and we call each other out," she said at the time. "And we're very supportive of one another. And I feel like, you know, living together so early in a relationship in a pandemic, like just being locked down together 24 hours a day for months, could have gone one of two ways. And we realized that we just work really well together. We're a good balance."
In addition to a baby and a proposal, it was also confirmed in April that Scheana will return for Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules along with Lisa Vanderpump, Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Raquel Leviss.
