TMZ first reported the news that the Shahs of Sunset alum's husband filed the documents in court. Lilly and Dara married in May 2017; they have a daughter, Alara Mir, who will turn 1 in September.

Lilly shot down divorce rumors back in February after rumors first spread that they were having martial issues after she reportedly removed photos of her now estranged husband from her Instagram, where she does frequently post photos of herself with their daughter.

“The rumors being said are exactly that — rumors,” Lilly told Page Six at the time. “Dara and I care for each other very much. He personally is not a public person, and is uncomfortable with my social media."

The Daily Dish spoke to Lilly about her relationship with Dara, shortly after news broke of their engagement. At the time, she was looking forward to starting their life together. "I not only found my equal. He far surpasses anything I could ever be," she said.

At that time, she also discussed how much he values his privacy. "He is a very private person. It's so refreshing to be with somebody that doesn't care about social media, that doesn't care about celebrities [and] is just a complete opposite from a world that I came from," she said.

"In that world, there's so many fake people. There's so many users. You never really know people's intentions and with him you don't even have a shred of doubt because he doesn't have these things. He doesn't care about these things."
