Shannon said that she has lost 20 pounds so far. She told ET that she's hoping to lose at least 20 more pounds in the coming months, just in time for this season's reunion. “I'm not gonna go back down to where I was, like, in season nine, when I started [the show], because as you age, you know, you look gaunt,” she told ET. “I want to look healthy.”
The RHOC mom opened up about her weight loss earlier this season, sharing that she had gained about 40 pounds and had 40 percent body fat. “I wasn't excited about [documenting my weight loss journey], and I sure wasn't excited to start filming,” Shannon said during her interview with ET. “It's, like, ‘Oh, crap!’ Now I gotta be in front of a camera, which doesn't make you look skinnier! But I knew I was going to start working on the weight loss, so at least now when I watch it, I know I'm down a little. I'm down about half, down about half of the weight.”
Shannon previously shared the secrets of her fitness success with The Daily Dish (clip above). "I’ve done a cleanse and I also am eating clean. I always did eat clean, but I kind of went off the wagon a little bit. So I’m eating clean again and I’m exercising 30 minutes a day. I despise exercise. I cannot stand it, but I’m working with Dr. Tim [Ramirez], and he says if you can just carve out 30 minutes a day and do it every single day, you can get there. So he has me doing certain moves that work many different parts of my body at the same time, and I’m doing the 30 minutes a day," Shannon explained. "And you know what, I’m seeing a little bit of results right now, but I still, still am not motivated with the exercise. Which is never gonna change. I’m never gonna like it."
