Shannon Storms Beador had quite the scare recently when her beloved dog, Archie, went missing. Last month, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member had shared the troubling news on Instagram, asking fans for their help to find her pet, who had been gone for hours.
“So it is past 4 o’clock in the morning, and Archie somehow, someway is missing. I don’t know what happened, but I’m yelling his name every two seconds for the last five hours, so if anyone here in [Orange County] has seen my dog, we’re devastated," Shannon, in tears, had shared on her November 1 Instagram Stories. She also shared that Archie's toy named "doggy" was outside their home during the time of his disappearance and questioned how the toy wound up there. “He carried it in his mouth all night tonight, so why is it out here on the sidewalk?” she said. “Did somebody take him? I don’t know what’s going on.”
Fortunately, the fluffy golden retriever eventually made it home and Shannon was thrilled to share the update, writing on Instagram, "Archie is home! Thank you to everyone that helped me throughout the night and especially to my neighbor who took him in and kept him safe!"
Though Shannon mentioned how "grateful" she was for Archie's return, in an interview with The Daily Dish podcast, she opened up further about that nerve-racking Halloween night when Archie went missing, how panic-stricken she became, and what had actually happened.
"I thought [Archie] was upstairs and I had shut the front door and thinking he was asleep. And when I realized he wasn't, we went searching for hours," Shannon said, adding that even police officers arrived on scene to help search for the missing pup. She then explained how she took to Instagram "hysterical" after being up all night looking for Archie.
It turns out, it was a fan who, after seeing Shannon's tearful Instagram plea for help, tracked down a person on a community website who had posted that they found a dog. "So someone took him in," Shannon said, going on to add that her Archie is "such a sweetheart."
Recently, Shannon shared the sweetest photo of adorable Archie with her three daughters, Sophie, Stella, and Adeline at her health food line business office. "Having some fun with the girls and Archie at the new [Real for Real Cuisine] office," Shannon wrote in the caption of the November 29 post, alongside three heart emojis, adding in reference to Archie, "There’s a new Lemon-Aid Boy…"
