So, Taylor Ann Green Spent New Year’s at Schwartz & Sandy’s
Shep Rose’s Southern Charm ex — who previously admitted to having a crush on Tom Schwartz — ventured to L.A. with Olivia Flowers.
The Vanderpump Rules cast danced the night away at Schwartz and Sandy’s on New Year’s Eve, but it turns out they weren’t the only Bravolebrities in attendance. Based on Instagram photos they shared, Southern Charm’s Taylor Ann Green and Olivia Flowers both rang in 2023 at Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s bar.
The pair posed alongside Ariana Madix for one snapshot, and in another photo posted by Taylor, Schwartz held a handful of jumbo shots. Also in attendance at the celebration were Raquel Leviss, Scheana Shay, and Brock Davies.
This certainly isn’t the first time fans have seen a Vanderpump Rules and Southern Charm crossover, but typically it’s Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover who are hanging out with the likes of Schwartz and Sandoval. Taylor, however, recently revealed that she had a crush on Schwartz.
Both newly single — Schwartz after Katie Maloney filed for divorce, and Taylor after breaking up with Shep — the two met at BravoCon 2022, which came shortly after she declared her interest in Schwartz. At the time, he described Taylor as “gorgeous” and admitted they already had “a rapport going,” but he was hesitant to say anything else because of his friendship with Shep.
“I have a really incredibly close relationship with all the guys from Southern Charm and Summer House," Schwartz told Showbiz Cheat Sheet in October. “So yeah, I [feel] a little awkward.”
Shep, however, doesn’t seem to have a problem with the pairing. “I love Thomas Schwartz — that would make me happy if she ended up with Thomas Schwartz,” he told E! News. “My point is I’m not a jealous man. We had a great, great time. If she ends up with a very good guy that makes her happy, that would make me happy.”
Asked about the comment from Shep, Schwartz said, “I saw that. Can I say ‘no comment’? But no, she’s gorgeous. But I just feel like that’s not a good idea… we’re just friends for now.”
Perhaps that’s changed — or will change — in 2023.
